Fuzzy Set theory and Applications

Fuzzy relations are widely used in solving real time problems. This is an extension of a crisp relation in which the relations are associated with a fuzzy grade of membership. The usual composition of the fuzzy relations is the max min composition. Fuzzy markov model is widely applied to model many practical situations and performing steady state analysis is essential to study the long realization of the model. This talk is focused in the use of fuzzy relation equations in studying the fuzzy markov model in its steady state. The notion of fuzzy relation equations is associated with the concept of max-min composition of the fuzzy relations.
